Forum Rules

Subject: Forum Rules February 16th 2009, 10:38 am

ok here are all of the rules for the forum...i have combined them so that there weren't as many to read...make sure that read all of them...because i have added some new rules

if you are found going against any of these rules you will either be warned and then banned or just banned with no questions asked

1. NO ARGUING
- if you must tell someone that they are wrong, please keep it to a pm
- this includes no name calling
- ALL MEMBERS ARE TO BE TREATED WITH RESPECT

2. ALL TOPICS AND POSTS MUST BE MEANT FOR ALL AGE GROUPS
-no swearing or using foul language

3. NO SCAMMING OR SPAMMING
- if you say that you will give/donate something, then you must give/donate it to that person
- keep personal conversations to pms (except in the topics such as the counting topic)

4. DON'T POST REPEAT TOPICS OR POSTS
-all repeat topics and posts will be deleted
- don't post the same topic in two different places

5. POSTING
- please post in the appropriate place
- ex. don't post about your birthday in the announcement section
- no posting just to post...each post has to have a purpose
- NO DOUBLE POSTING

6. CHEATING IS NOT ALLOWED
- no using the poll cheat (i will be checking on millsberry to make sure that no one is cheating)
- no cheating to get trophy's or to get money
- NO POSTING CHEATS

7. NO ADVERTISING WITHOUT MY PERMISSION
- pm me if you would like to advertise
- only advertise in the "other millsberry forums" section and in your signature
- NO PM'ING ABOUT OTHER SITES (if you receive a pm with an ad, please copy it and send it to an admin or a mod...if you don't and we find out, then you will be BANNED)

8. TOPICS IN THE "Looking For", "Auctions", "Looking to Sell", "Trading Post", "Yardsales" SECTIONS
- all items must be under one topic
- one topic per member

9. AUCTION RULES
- all items must be under one topic (unless the other topics are locked)
- MUST HAVE AN END DATE AND TIME (WITH TIME ZONE)
- you must sell the item to the highest bidder
- no backing out after starting the auction
- NO BIDDING FOR FUN, if you are the highest bidder, you must buy that item

10. DONATION TOPICS
- no asking for donations or millsbucks to yourself or someone else
- you are only allowed to donate to someone else
- NO SAYING THAT YOU GOT "HACKED" ANYWHERE IN THE FORUM AND/OR PM'S

[b]11. SMILIES
- only have two lines of smiles
- only use appropriate smiles

12. # OF ACCOUNTS
- ONLY ONE ACCOUNT ON THIS FORUM (MILLSBERRY CHATS)
- you may have more than one account on millsberry.com

13. PMS
- no pm'ing people about them going and checking out your yardsale or auctions
- every pm you send will result in you receiving 10 warning points
- if anyone receives one of these pms please contact the admin or one of the mods
- no pm'ing each other with inappropriate messages either (if you receive one of these messages then please quote it and send it to the admin or one of the mods)

14. BEGGING
- begging or asking for millsbucks is not allowed
- if you are found doing this you will receive warning points
- if you are a repeat offender you may get banned

15. USERNAMES AND PERSONAL INFORMATION
- please dont put your full name into your username
- do not tell people you real full name, address, or telephone number
- if someone has told you any of this info please quote it and send it to admin or one of the mods

16. ACCOUNTS AND IP ADDRESSES
- if someone has been using your computer to get on here...and they have a seperate account, then please let the admin or one of the mods know so that we wont ban you for having two accounts
- if someone is planning on joining and will be sharing a computer will you then please tell the admin or one of the mods before they join

17. HAVE FUN!!!

IF YOU DON'T FOLLOW THESE RULES THEN THERE WILL BE CONSEQUENCES!!!

Question please: Rule #10...suppose someone does hack another person, how will we know there is a hacker on the forum if we are not allowed to mention it. I pray there is never one on here but what if? Thank you Smile

we mean that if someone hacks you millsberry.com account not to mention it...but if someone hacks your account on here make sure to tell me and the mods immediately...thanks and i hope that answered your question

ok its like if you got hacked on millsberry.com the site itself . not here , we dont want ppl to get on here and say hey i was hacked can u donate things me ... because we have found that alot of ppl will join a site jsut to post that and get items then never to get back here again

Yep, I understand exactly and it is not fair to use other people for selfish gain.
